Goodwill Columbus is one of the largest charities in Central Ohio tackling workforce development, particularly for people with disabilities.
The Young Adult Services program provides unique and varied opportunities for individuals with developmental disabilities to become involved in the community. Through this rewarding program, participants gain self-respect, self-worth and the feeling that they are part of something meaningful. For this project, your team will manage a physical activity/game, and then assist with socialization time.
4/25 Express Group 1pm – 1:30pm Tour / Orientation 1:30 – 2:30pm Young Adult Services Activity (18 – 44 year olds with a Developmental disability) 2:45 – 3:45pm SAGE Senior Program Activity (45+ year olds with a Developmental disability) 3:45pm – 4pm Wind Down, Debriefing & Reflection
