The Furniture Bank provides free furniture to Central Ohio families who have gone from homelessness to recently securing a new home. Last year, the Furniture Bank helped 4,110 families by providing them with 13-15 pieces of essential furniture. 

Furniture with a Heart Thrift Store opened in 2016 as a social enterprise that fully supports the Furniture Bank. Primarily managed by volunteers, the thrift store sells new and gently used furniture, with 100% of the proceeds benefiting The Furniture Bank. By volunteering at Furniture with a Heart Thrift Store, you will be helping families get back on their feet!

As a volunteer, projects may include: helping with furniture selection, merchandise processing, organizing and furniture assembly.

• Closed-toe shoes are required; no heels, sandals, or flip-flops.
• Our team will receive an orientation prior to volunteering.
