The Furniture Bank provides free furniture to central Ohio families who recently secured housing. Last year, the Furniture Bank helped 4,110 families by providing them with 13-15 pieces of essential furniture.

 

As a Besa volunteer, you'll help assemble furniture for families in need at their Franklinton workshop!

  • Wear clothing that you can get dirty and closed-toe shoes are required; no heels, sandals, or flip-flops.
  • Teams will receive an orientation prior to volunteering. 
  • Note: This project takes place in their workshop in Franklinton, not the thrift store. 
  • Parking: please park inside the fenced lot at the intersection of State St. and Yale Ave. and enter through the door on that side of the building that is labeled “employee entrance”.
