Details:

The Clarfield Urban Farm is part of Urban Farms of Central Ohio, a non-profit urban farming business that takes vacant and/or underutilized land and transforms it into thriving, community farms. They seek to provide underserved communities with increased access to local produce, jobs and job training, and education about fresh produce and improved diet.

Volunteers will assist in the following:

• Volunteer activities include: planting seeds and seedlings, weeding, pruning plants, spreading compost, and harvesting produce
• Dress for the weather in comfortable clothes that can get dirty
• Wear sturdy, closed-toed shoes
• Supplies, including tools and gloves, will be provided at the farm.
• Bring a bottle of water!
• Youth with parent, 13+, can join!
