Join Besa and Equitas Health to help address HIV/AIDS in our community.

AIDS Walk Central Ohio takes place on April 14th. The mission of this walk is to raise awareness and funds for HIV/AIDS research. Since 1984 over 30,000 people have participated in the Walk and Run, raising millions of dollars for HIV/AIDS prevention and care, saving countless lives and improving the well-being of thousands still living with HIV/AIDS today.

As a Besa volunteer, you'll assist with the registration process, aiming to get race participants out to the event as quickly and seamlessly as possible. After the event, volunteers will help tear down the registration station.

  • 16 is the minimum age required, minors must be accompanied by an adult, and any volunteer under 18 must complete a waiver prior to the event.
  • Parking Info: parking is available in nearby garages or there's metered parking along side streets. Please read all parking signs carefully.
  • Volunteers are encouraged to participate in the festivities once their shift has ended.
