The Summer Food Service Program was created to connect children from low-income families to the crucial nutrition they need during the summer. Last summer, over 500,000 free meals were served at over 230 locations in the Columbus area.

Besa volunteers will pair up and go door-to-door to hand out flyers and stickers promoting the free Summer Food Program. We will meet at the school, where CRPD will provide all the details, neighborhood maps, and a brief training prior to the canvassing efforts.
