The annual Mother's Day celebration is an incredible opportunity to support homeless or recently homeless mothers and their families. Bring your mother, a family member, or friend with you to volunteer!
Volunteers will have a variety of responsibilities during the event.
  • Responsibilities before the guests arrive include: setting up bread and desserts, filling water glasses, and making final touches on the tables.
  • Responsibilities during the event include registering and welcoming guests, escorting families to tables, serving food to guests and clearing plates and tables, and assisting with managing photography lines.
  • Following the event, volunteers are needed to assist with clean up.
  • There is plenty of parking located at and across the street from the Harry C. Moores Campus Center. Parking is free of charge. Please note, Capital will not be in session the weekend of the event. When you enter the Harry C. Moores Campus Center, please go to the second floor.
  • Please wear business casual clothing, preferably no jeans or shorts.
