The Godman Guild was founded in 1898 as a result of Ms. Anna B. Keagle’s undying passion to make her community a better place. Today, the Godman Guild provides broad-based human services for youth and adults, focused on education, employment, leadership development, health and wellness, and economic development resulting in strong families and strong communities.

Godman Guild offers year-round youth programming for the Weinland Park community. Their Teen Education & Employment Network (TEEN) program helps young people learn critical life skills while learning in a supportive, hands-on environment.

Join Besa and Godman Guild to teach teens how to cook. Besa volunteers will prepare and cook dinner with teens as part of their life skills program. The food prepared will be a meal they can replicate on their own in the future.

  • 19 is the minimum age required to volunteer.

  • All supplies and ingredients for the meal will be provided.
  • A staff person from the Godman Guild will provide an overview.

  • Parking is available in the surface lot.

  • The teen room is located in the gray module near the main building.
  • This event is ADA accessible.
  • Court-appointed volunteering: At this time, we can not accept court-appointed requests.
