Equitas Health (formerly AIDS Resource Center Ohio) is a regional not-for-profit community-based healthcare system founded in 1984. Its expanded mission has made it one of the nation’s largest HIV/AIDS, lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer/questioning (LGBTQ) healthcare organizations.

The mission of AIDS Walk Ohio is to raise awareness and funds for HIV/AIDS service organizations. Since 1989 over 30,000 people have participated in the walk and run, raising millions of dollars for HIV/AIDS prevention and care, saving countless lives, and improving the well-being of thousands still living with HIV/AIDS today.

Join Besa and Equitas Health to help address HIV/AIDS in our community. As a Besa volunteer, you'll assist with the registration process, aiming to get race participants out to the event as quickly and seamlessly as possible. After the event, volunteers will help tear down the registration station. Volunteers are encouraged to participate in the festivities once their shift has ended.
