The Mid-Ohio Foodbank aims to provide efficient, effective ways for hungry people to meet their basic food and nutrition needs. Annually, they handle more than 66.5 million pounds of food. Through agency partnerships, they provide more than 149,164 meals every day to hungry people across central and eastern Ohio.

 
Join Besa and Mid-Ohio Food Bank for Double Your Donation Day, a one-day media supported match event where donors go online or call the phone bank to make donations that will be matched through previously secured gifts. The goal of Double Your Donation Day is to leverage matching funds and inspire donors to raise funds to feed hungry people in our community. Besa volunteers will appear on TV during NBC-4 telecasts to help take phone calls. Join us for our 7th year supporting this great event! 
 
  • A lead staff person from Mid-Ohio Foodbank will provide a brief training and orientation.

  • 14 is the minimum age required and all minors must be accompanied by an adult.

  • Parking is available in the surface lot.
  • This event is ADA accessible. 
  • Court-appointed volunteering: At this time, we can not accept court-appointed requests.
