FireFighters 4 Kids Toy Drive is Columbus based nonprofit that operates during the holiday season assisting Central Ohio families in need by providing toys to children to open on Christmas morning. The program started in 1977 after a Columbus firefighter, Mike Mullins, had an emergency call to a home with young children and noticed they had nothing for the children for Christmas. With a handful of other firefighters, he began the program in the basement of his home. In 2018, FireFighters 4 Kids provided toys to 5,468 families and 20,091 children.

Join Besa and FireFighter 4 Kids to spread holiday cheer to Central Ohio families. Besa volunteers will help with a variety of tasks, including: sorting and organizing toys, filling toy orders, and assisting families as they pick-up their holiday presents for their children.

• 14 is the minimum age required and all minors must be accompanied by an adult.
• Closed-toe shoes are required. 
• This event takes place in a warehouse. Please wear comfortable clothing that you don't mind getting dirty. Festive and holiday attire is encouraged! 
• Parking is available in the surface lot in front of the building.
• This event is ADA accessible. 
• Court-appointed volunteering: At this time, we can not accept court-appointed requests.
