The New Salem Bread of Life Food Pantry is dedicated to serving the Linden community with the highest quantity and quality food, and with dignity and respect. The pantry processes about 10,000 pounds of food each month.

Join Besa and New Salem to support Linden neighbors. As a volunteer, we'll help unload food supplied by the Mid-Ohio Foodbank and organize it in the pantry.

  • A lead volunteer or staff from the pantry will provide an overview and training.

  • 5 is the minimum age required and all minors must be accompanied by an adult.

  • Wear comfortable shoes and clothing you don't mind getting a little dirty.

  • Please note: This project takes place both indoors and outdoors. Wearing warm clothes and layers is encouraged.

  • Depending on the items being unloaded, moderate to heavy lifting may be involved. If you're not comfortable lifting heavier items, please inform your Besa Volunteer Leader at the beginning of the event.

  • Parking is available in the surface lot behind the church. Please park along the fence and meet at the gate. The food pantry is located in the brown house directly behind the church.

  • Unfortunately, this event is not ADA accessible.
  • Court-appointed volunteering: At this time, we can not accept court-appointed requests.
