We believe the human spirit shines of light and of love – now more than ever. Besa wants to harness and celebrate that spirit. So we are on a mission to show acts of gratitude throughout Columbus in one week.

Here's how:

The YWCA Family Center provides emergency shelter and critical services to stabilize homeless families in Central Ohio. To assist their families with rapid re-housing, they offer a breadth of services under one roof, including direct family assistance, family advocacy, an employment and resource center,  and childcare.

For many in our area, staying at home isn't an option. Some people have no home. Some can't afford to miss a day on the job. And for some children, if they don't go to school, they don't get lunch. For these people, YWCA Columbus provides essential support every day, and their support is even more crucial now. Their work has amplified and they're in desperate need of masks to help keep their frontline safe.

Join Besa and YWCA Columbus as we gather virtually to help keep YWCA employees and families safe! Using Zoom, we'll guide volunteers on how to make a simple mask that you'll send to the YWCA.

  • 9x12 large envelopes
