Pack and Distribute Food BoxesProvide Food to Our Neighbors in Crisis Date: June 30 | Time: 8:30 am - 11:30 am Venue: Food Pantry at Broad Street Presbyterian Church
Address:
Directions: Details: The Broad Street Food Pantry is helping neighbors put healthy meals on their tables – providing food for bodies, relief to minds, and nourishment for souls. The pantry is continuing to serve the community to the best of their ability amid the COVID-19 pandemic. Currently, they are feeding 40-45 families a day by preparing food boxes that are picked up at the pantry.
Join Besa and Broad Street Food Pantry to help provide food to our neighbors in crisis. As a volunteer, we'll pack food boxes and deliver them to vehicles. Limited client interaction will take place during this volunteer event.
Broad Street Food Pantry will provide gloves, face masks and we'll also practice social distancing. If you have your own gloves, face mask and/or hand sanitizer please feel free to bring it/use your own.
Officials still strongly recommend that people remain at home when possible and limit gathering sizes. Volunteers, however, continue to be needed now more than ever. That means our critical-need projects, as well as those of our partner agencies, are still happening. And healthy and willing volunteers are needed.
