Gladden Community House is a settlement house located in the heart of Franklinton. Since 1905, they have been an essential support system and engine for change in the Westside, providing education and recreation programs, emergency assistance, advocacy, and support for individuals, families, and groups.

Join Besa and Gladden Community House to beautify Franklinton! As a volunteer, you'll help with activities such as: trimming bushes, mulching, weeding, raking, cleaning windows, trash clean up and yard waste removal. All tools will be provided.

Gladden Community House will provide masks, gloves, and hand sanitizer to volunteers, as well as practice social distancing. Volunteers are highly encouraged to bring their own mask or face covering, as the number of masks is limited.

The health and safety of volunteers is a priority. If you are sick, over the age of 50, or have a chronic health condition, it is in your best interest to stay home. Click here for more information about COVID-19.
