Columbus Recreation and Parks connects the people of our community through the power of nature, wellness, and creativity. With more than 353 parks and countless programs, their services give all Columbus residents a chance to improve their physical and mental health, to develop our youth, to focus on our environment, and to make a positive economic impact on our city.

Join Besa and Columbus Recreation and Parks Department to create a safe and beautiful space for families to play. As a volunteer, you'll beautify Woodward Park. Activities may include weeding, mulching, painting, and more. Supplies, including tools and gloves, will be provided.

Columbus Recreation and Parks will provide gardening gloves, masks, hand sanitizer and practice social distancing. If you have your own gloves, face mask and/or hand sanitizer please feel free to bring it/use your own.

The health and safety of volunteers is a priority. If you are sick, over the age of 50, or have a chronic health condition, it is in your best interest to stay home. Click here for more information about COVID-19.
