Details:

The King-Lincoln Bronzeville District is a historically African-American area in Columbus, Ohio. Home to the historic Lincoln Theater and the King Arts Complex, this neighborhood was the heart of an affluent African-American business and entertainment district in the 1930s and ‘40s. TEDx King-Lincoln Bronzeville will highlight stories about how we can live the Kwanzaa principles throughout the year while socially distancing.

Join Besa and the TEDxKing-Lincoln Bronzeville to amplify the incredible stories of Bronzeville. As a volunteer, you'll work side-by-side with the TEDxKLB staff to help at the event. Activities may include: set up, check in, clean up, and more. Volunteers will enjoy the program between duties.

TEDxKLB will provide masks, gloves, hand sanitizer, and we'll also practice social distancing. Volunteers are encouraged to bring their own face mask, as TEDxKLB has limited numbers. Community interaction will take place during this volunteer event. If you have your own gloves, face mask and/or hand sanitizer please feel free to bring it/use your own.

The health and safety of volunteers is a priority. If you are sick, over the age of 50, or have a chronic health condition, it is in your best interest to stay home. Click here for more information about COVID-19.
