Community Development for All People Free Store provides clothing and household items to individuals and families in a hospitable atmosphere that affirms the self-worth of each individual. Everything in the store is provided to families, free of cost, so they aren't burdened with paying for basic necessities. More than 50,000 families have become members of the Free Store since they opened our doors in January 1999.

Join Besa and Community Development for All People to help support our southside neighbors. As a volunteer, you'll assist in a variety of roles including greeting clients, sorting through donations, organizing the store, checking out clients, and bagging items.

Community Development for All People will provide gloves and face masks and we'll also practice social distancing. If you have your own gloves, face mask and/or hand sanitizer please feel free to bring it/use your own.

The health and safety of volunteers is a priority. If you are sick, over the age of 50, or have a chronic health condition, it is in your best interest to stay home. Click here for more information about COVID-19.
