The New Salem Bread of Life Food Pantry is dedicated to serving the Linden community with the highest quantity and quality food, and with dignity and respect. The pantry is continuing to serve the community to the best of their ability amid the COVID-19 pandemic. Currently, they process over 10,000 pounds of food each month!

Join Besa and New Salem Bread of Life Food Pantry to help provide food to our neighbors in crisis during the holiday season. As a volunteer, you'll assist with activites such as packing Thanksgiving food boxes, delivering boxes to vehicles, and helping to stock the pantry with food deliveries.

New Salem Bread of Life Food Pantry will provide gloves and face masks. The pantry is small, but we'll try our best to practice social distancing. Limited client interaction will take place during this volunteer event. If you have your own gloves, face mask and/or hand sanitizer please feel free to bring it/use your own. 

The health and safety of volunteers is a priority. If you are sick, over the age of 60, or have a chronic health condition, it is in your best interest to stay home. Click here for more information about COVID-19.

• 5 is the minimum age required and all minors must be accompanied by an adult.

• Wear comfortable shoes and clothing you don't mind getting a little dirty.

• Please note: This project takes place both indoors and outdoors. Dress for the weather. Wearing layers is encouraged.

• Parking is available in the surface lot behind the church. Please park along the fence and meet at the gate. The food pantry is located in the brown house directly behind the church. 

• Unfortunately, this event is not ADA accessible. 
• Court-appointed volunteering: At this time, we can not accept court-appointed requests.
