NBC4: Support Linden Families with a Thanksgiving MealProvide Nutritious Food to Linden Neighbors Date: November 18 | Time: 4:00 pm - 7:00 pm Venue: New Salem Bread of Life Food Pantry
Address:
Directions: Details: The New Salem Bread of Life Food Pantry is dedicated to serving the Linden community with the highest quantity and quality food, and with dignity and respect. The pantry processes about 10,000 pounds of food each month.
We’re inviting the community to join Besa and NBC4 on Wednesday, November 18th to help distribute Thanksgiving food boxes to Linden neighbors. Volunteers will help in a variety of ways, including: setting up the distribution area, packing food boxes, and distributing Thanksgiving food boxes drive-through style.
New Salem Bread of Life Food Pantry will provide gloves and face masks. The pantry is small, but we'll try our best to practice social distancing. Limited client interaction will take place during this volunteer event. If you have your own gloves, face mask and/or hand sanitizer please feel free to bring it/use your own.
The health and safety of volunteers is a priority. If you are sick, over the age of 60, or have a chronic health condition, it is in your best interest to stay home. Click here for more information about COVID-19.
Can't make it to the volunteer day? Consider making a donation to New Salem. Your financial gift will support local outreach programs that help thousands of our Columbus neighbors. Click here to donate.
