Each year, Faith Mission in Columbus provides more than 90,000 nights of shelter to men, women, and veterans and serves three meals a day to anyone who is experiencing homelessness. No matter their situation, when a person arrives at Faith Mission, they are treated fairly, with dignity and without judgment.

 

Join Besa and LSS Faith Mission to provide holiday kits to people experiencing homelessness! Each year, Faith Mission's Deck The Halls event provides clients with holiday gifts that provide joy during this holiday season. As a volunteer, you'll purchase the below items, pack them into a kit, then drop them off at Faith Mission to support our neighbors in need.

  • Fleece throw blanket
  • $10 gift card (McDonald’s, Burger King, Subway or Wendy’s)
  • Travel plastic coffee mug
  • Hot chocolate (6 pack)
  • Full size candy bar

 

A few notes:

  • Please pack each kit in a holiday gift bag.
  • Volunteers must drop off their donations at the Faith Mission donation room prior to December 11th.
  • Donation room hours: Mondays and Fridays, 10 a.m. - 2 p.m.
  • Donation room address: 217 N. Grant Avenue, Columbus, Ohio 43215 -- please note the donation drop off is located on the side of the 217 N. Grant building on McKee Alley.
