The NNEMAP Food Pantry is one of the largest food pantries in Franklin County. In addition to food, NNEMAP Food Pantry provides basic personal care items like bath tissue, soap and dental hygiene products. They also act as an access point for services such as SNAP (Food Stamp) eligibility screening and enrollment. As a member of the Mid-Ohio Food Collective, the pantry distributed over 1 million pounds of food to neighbors across Columbus in 2019 alone!

Join Besa and the NNEMAP Food Pantry to help provide food to our neighbors in crisis. As a volunteer, you'll assist with pantry activities, including unloading food, stocking the pantry, packing food boxes and other tasks as needed. 

Face masks are required to be worn at all times. Social distancing will be observed. Masks and gloves are available upon request. Limited client interaction will take place during this volunteer event.

• 14 is the minimum age required and all minors must be accompanied by an adult.

• Volunteers are required to fill out a waiver on-site.

• Please note: This project takes place both indoors and outdoors. Wearing layers and comfortable clothing is encouraged. Closed-toe shoes are required. 

• Moderate to heavy lifting may be involved. Limited client interaction will take place during this volunteer event. 

• Parking is available in the surface lot behind the pantry.

• This event is ADA accessible. 
• Court-appointed volunteering: At this time, we can not accept court-appointed requests.
