Homeport surrounds its residents with comprehensive support to promote long-term stability and health, such as out-of-school programs, free produce markets. They offer service connections for thousands of residents, both young and old, every year.

Join Besa and Homeport to ensure seniors in our community have access to healthy food. As a volunteer, you'll go door to door to drop off food boxes to seniors living in Homeport's Elim Court resident facility.

Face masks are required to be worn at all times. Social distancing will be observed. Masks and gloves are available upon request. No client interaction will take place during this volunteer event.

The health and safety of volunteers is a priority. If you are sick, over the age of 60, or have a chronic health condition, it is in your best interest to stay home. Click here for more information about COVID-19. 

• 14 is the minimum age required and all minors must be accompanied by an adult.

• A lead volunteer from Homeport will be on-site to provide an overview.

• Please note there will be heavy lifting of food boxes during this event.
• New volunteers must complete a photo release waiver on-site. 
• Parking is available in the surface lot.
• This event is ADA accessible. 
• Court-appointed volunteering: At this time, we can not accept court-appointed requests
