Gladden Community House is a settlement house located in the heart of Franklinton. Since 1905, they have been an essential support system and engine for change in the West side, providing education and recreation programs, emergency assistance, advocacy, and support for individuals, families, and groups.

Join Besa and Gladden to support Franklinton Seniors. As a volunteer, you'll deliver nutritious food boxes to seniors, using your own vehicle. We'll meet behind the Gladden pantry where you'll be provided with an overview and route delivery instructions. This is a great volunteer opportunity to bring a family member or friend to join you!

Volunteers are required to bring their own face masks and must be worn when dropping off meals. Gloves are available upon request. Limited interaction will take place during this volunteer event.

The health and safety of volunteers is a priority. If you are sick, over the age of 60, or have a chronic health condition, it is in your best interest to stay home. Click here for more information about COVID-19.

• 14 is the minimum age required and all minors must be accompanied by an adult.

• A lead volunteer from Gladden Community House will be on-site at the Pantry to provide an orientation.

• Please note there will be heavy lifting of food boxes during this event.
• A reliable vehicle with adequate back seat and trunk space is required.
• New volunteers must complete a waiver on-site. 
• Parking is available along nearby streets. Please read all the street signs carefully!
• This event is ADA accessible. 
• Court-appointed volunteering: At this time, we can not accept court-appointed requests
