Motherful supports, empowers, and nurtures single mothers and their families in Columbus by providing resources, community, and education. They seek to build a safe, intentional community where single mothers joyfully and peacefully work together, uplift each other, and share an abundance of resources in a collaborative, equitable collective.

Join Besa and Motherful to support single moms in Columbus. As a volunteer, you'll help pack and distribute resource bags to moms drive-through style. Additional activities may include re-stocking their Resource Garage and assisting in their produce garden.

Volunteers are required to bring their own face masks and must be worn at all times. Social distancing will be observed. Limited client interaction will take place during this volunteer event.

The health and safety of volunteers is a priority. If you are sick, over the age of 60, or have a chronic health condition, it is in your best interest to stay home. Click here for more information about COVID-19.

• 14 is the minimum age required and all minors must be accompanied by an adult.

• Volunteers must sign a waiver upon arrival.
• This event takes place indoors and outdoors. Please wear closed-toe shoes and dress weather appropriate.
• We encourage wearing clothes you don't mind getting dirty. 
• Parking is available in the surface lot.
• This event is ADA accessible. 
• Court-appointed volunteering: At this time, we can not accept court-appointed requests.
