Tackle Poverty with the Welcome WarehouseSupport Dublin Neighbors Date: March 18 | Time: 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm Venue: The Welcome Warehouse
Address:
Directions: Details: The Welcome Warehouse unites a community that cares and neighbors who share. They exist to connect families in the Dublin City School District with the resources they need to thrive. Many families in the community are temporarily in need because of job loss, underemployment, health crises, or other challenges. Their Free Shop, located at Indian Run United Methodist Church, offers new and gently-used clothing, household and personal care items to families in need.
Join Besa and the Welcome Warehouse to help support Dublin families. Besa volunteers will assist in a variety of roles including sorting through donations, organizing items in the warehouse, and pulling items to be available at their Free Shop.
Volunteers are required to bring their own face masks and must be worn at all times. Social distancing will be observed. No client interaction will take place during this volunteer event.
The health and safety of volunteers is a priority. If you are sick, over the age of 60, or have a chronic health condition, it is in your best interest to stay home. Click here for more information about COVID-19.
The Welcome Warehouse will accept gently-used clothing, diapers, and specific small household items, like cups and dishes. Click here for more information about donating items to their Free Shop and other outreach programs.
