Directions: Details: Since 2016, Student Success Stores have operated free and anonymous spaces for students to shop right inside their school. The stores stock items such as food, clothes, school supplies, and hygiene products. By providing students with the basic essentials, Student Success Stores helps ensure each child starts the school day healthy, confident and ready to learn.
Join Besa and Student Success Stores to provide local students with basic essentials, and help them thrive in school. Besa volunteers will organize the Student Success Store Warehouse. Tasks may include sorting donations, counting and organizing products, and fulfilling school orders.
Face masks are required to be worn at all times. Social distancing will be observed. Masks and gloves are available upon request. No client interaction will take place during this volunteer event.
The health and safety of volunteers is a priority. If you are sick, over the age of 60, or have a chronic health condition, it is in your best interest to stay home. Click here for more information about COVID-19.
Student Success Stores could use the following donations to support the students in Columbus City Schools. If you’d like to donate any of these items, please bring them with you when you volunteer and notify your Besa Volunteer Leader.
