Sort and Organize Essential Items for Vulnerable NeighborsSupport Individuals Experiencing Domestic Violence & Homelessness Date: March 8 | Time: 9:30 am - 11:30 am Venue: LSS Faith Mission
Address:
Directions: Details: Lutheran Social Services (LSS) serves thousands of people in need each day in 27 Ohio counties by addressing the four core societal issues of food, shelter, safety, and healing. LSS offers housing and supportive services through LSS Faith Mission homeless shelters and domestic violence services through LSS CHOICES for Victims of Domestic Violence. Their breadth of services focus on uplifting families and strengthening communities.
Join Besa and LSS to sort and organize donations! CHOICES and Faith Mission rely heavily on donations to support those affected by homelessness and domestic violence. As a volunteer, you'll help sort donations, change inventory, and organize the donation storage closet so clients can access essential items quickly.
Volunteers are required to bring their own face masks and must be worn at all times. Social distancing will be observed. No client interaction will take place during this volunteer event.
The health and safety of volunteers is a priority. If you are sick, over the age of 60, or have a chronic health condition, it is in your best interest to stay home. Click here for more information about COVID-19.
