Motherful supports, empowers, and nurtures single mothers and their families in Columbus by providing resources, community, and education. They seek to build a safe, intentional community where single mothers joyfully and peacefully work together, uplift each other, and share an abundance of resources in a collaborative, equitable collective.

Join Besa and Motherful to make encouragement cards for women! Due to COVID-19, many single moms have experienced increased stress from balancing jobs, safety, and virtual learning. As a volunteer, you'll create encouragement cards that will be distributed at Motherful's Resource Garage. Share words of wisdom, positivity, and motivation to support moms during National Women's Month!

Below are examples of empowering words of encouragement:

• You are strong and fearless.
• You're an incredible mom. 
• Moms are superheroes.

Mailing Instructions:

• All cards must be mailed no later than March 25th.
• Please mail cards in one envelope or package, not individual envelopes. 
• Address:  ATTN: Motherful, 1436 Chelmsford Ct, Columbus, OH, 43229
• Cards can be purchased or hand made. We encourage you to get creative with stickers and craft supplies.
• There is no required number of cards that have to be sent. Feel free to send as many as you'd like.
