COSI, Columbus, Ohio's dynamic Center of Science and Industry, inspires the scientists, dreamers, and innovators of tomorrow. COSI provides an exciting and informative atmosphere for those of all ages through involvement in exhibits and a variety of educational activities. 

Join Besa and COSI to support STEM education in our community! As a volunteer,  you'll fill activity boxes with science activities that will be distributed to families.

 Volunteers are required to bring their own face mask - please no bandanas or running gaiters. Social distancing will be observed. No client interaction will take place during this volunteer event. 

The health and safety of volunteers is a priority. If you are sick, over the age of 60, or have a chronic health condition, it is in your best interest to stay home. Click here for more information about COVID-19.

• 18 is the minimum age required.
• Volunteers will meet outside in the COSI Plaza near the stone stairs.
• Due to COSI safety procedures, they are unable to accommodate late volunteers.  Please give yourself ample time to park. 
• Closed toes shoes are required and we encourage comfortable clothing. 
• COSI's water fountains are currently out of service, we encourage you to bring your own pre-filled water bottle.
• Volunteers are required to complete a waiver upon arrival. 
• Parking: park on the right-hand side of Washington Blvd on the entrance off of Broad Street. A COSI staff member will meet you in your car near the large multi-colored COSI sign to provide you with a parking pass and further instructions. A map will be provided prior to the event. 
• Please do not leave valuables in your car.
• This event is ADA accessible. 
• Court-appointed volunteering: At this time, we can not accept court-appointed requests.
