The Homeless Families Foundation educates and nurtures children while empowering families to achieve stable housing and self-sufficiency. The Homeless Families Foundation provides wrap-around services, such as after-school and summer programs for over 100 Franklinton children and a food pantry available to all clients, to celebrate each person’s resilience.

February is National Canned Food Month! Canned foods offer families experiencing food insecurity an easy way to get the nutrients to keep them healthy. As a staple of many pantries, canned foods are convenient, nutritious, and have a long shelf life.

Join Besa and the Homeless Families Foundation to celebrate National Canned Food Month! As a volunteer, you'll purchase any of the below items and drop them off at the Homeless Families Foundation to support our neighbors experiencing food insecurity anytime during the month of February.

A few notes:

  • Volunteers must drop off their donations at the Homeless Families Foundation.
  • Donation room hours: Mondays from 10am - 1pm
  • Donation room address: 33 N. Grubb St, Columbus, OH, 43215 - please note there will be a drop-off space available inside the double doors.
