Directions: Details: Friends of the Scioto Run Nature Trail is a volunteer-run group that supports the Hilliard Recreation and Parks system to remove invasive plant species and debris from the park. Their goal is to restore the natural habitat of the park and create a beautiful space for everyone to enjoy.
Join Besa and Friends of the Trail to support our environment during Earth Month! As a volunteer, you'll help remove honeysuckle and mustard weed plants, spray the removed plants to prevent them from repopulating, and plant natives plant species.
Volunteers are required to bring their own face masks and must be worn at all times. Social distancing will be observed. No client interaction will take place during this volunteer event.
The health and safety of volunteers is a priority. If you are sick, over the age of 60, or have a chronic health condition, it is in your best interest to stay home. Click here for more information about COVID-19.
