Address:
Directions: Details: For more than 127 years, Columbus Humane has been sheltering homeless animals, fighting animal cruelty and neglect, and offering programs to address the needs of animals in our community. Columbus Humane continues to serve the community to the best of its ability amid the COVID-19 pandemic. Since April 2020, Columbus Humane has provided free pet food to support over 15,000 animals in Central Ohio. These donations are distributed to almost 4,000 families through Columbus Humane pick-ups, deliveries, and at the All People’s Fresh Market.
Join Besa and Columbus Humane to support the pet food distribution program! As a volunteer, you'll unload pallets of food and load vans with pre-packed bags of pet food. This food will be distributed by Columbus Humane the next day.
Face masks are required to be worn at all times. Social distancing will be observed. Masks and gloves are available upon request. No client interaction will take place during this volunteer event.
The health and safety of volunteers is a priority. If you are sick, over the age of 60, or have a chronic health condition, it is in your best interest to stay home. Click here for more information about COVID-19.
