Details:

Columbus and Franklin County Metro Parks is a regional system of natural parks organized with a mission to conserve open spaces while providing places and opportunities that encourage people to discover and experience nature. Metro Parks continually works to responsibly manage our resources while enhancing visitor experiences.

Join Besa and Metro Parks to share gratitude with Park Rangers and staff! During the pandemic, park staff, including rangers, naturalists, and park technicians have worked tirelessly to keep the parks open and provide clean, safe experiences for all visitors. As a volunteer, you'll create gratitude cards that will be distributed to the staff. Share positivity, gratitude, and motivation to support our parks staff during April!

Below are examples of words of gratitude:

  • Thank you for keeping the parks open, clean, and safe!
  • Thank you for providing a place to get outside to enjoy nature!
  • We appreciate your hard work. We love our parks!

Mailing Instructions:

  • All cards must be mailed no later than April 30th.
  • Please mail cards in one envelope or package, not individual envelopes.
