COSI, Columbus, Ohio's dynamic Center of Science and Industry, inspires the scientists, dreamers, and innovators of tomorrow. COSI provides an exciting and informative atmosphere for those of all ages through involvement in exhibits and a variety of educational activities. 

Join Besa and COSI to celebrate Earth Day! As a volunteer, we'll help beautify COSI's grounds with tasks such as: weeding, trimming bushes, and transplanting plants. We'll provide all tools and supplies, but feel free to bring your own gardening gloves if you have them. 

 Volunteers are required to bring their own face mask - please no bandanas or running gaiters. Social distancing will be observed. 

The health and safety of volunteers is a priority. If you are sick, over the age of 60, or have a chronic health condition, it is in your best interest to stay home. Click here for more information about COVID-19.

• 18 is the minimum age required.
• Volunteers will meet outside in the COSI Plaza near the stone stairs.
• Closed-toed shoes are required.
• Please dress for the weather and in comfortable clothes that can get dirty.
• COSI's water fountains are currently out of service, we encourage you to bring your own pre-filled water bottle.
• For instances of inclement weather (snow, rain, etc.), Besa will inform volunteers of any cancellation via email at least 1 hour prior to the event.

• Volunteers are required to complete a waiver that will be shared prior to the event.  
• Parking: park on the right-hand side of Washington Blvd on the entrance off of Broad Street. A COSI staff member will meet you in your car near the large multi-colored COSI sign to provide you with a parking pass and further instructions. A map will be provided prior to the event.  
• This event is ADA accessible. 
• Court-appointed volunteering: At this time, we can not accept court-appointed requests.
