A strong and connected neighborhood positively impacts the lives of all residents. As a community development corporation in Milo-Grogan, Cultivate works to ensure that this neighborhood is a vibrant and equitable place for all. Through engaging with neighbors through newsletters and events, fostering local leadership with the Milo Leadership Group, and various community building efforts, Cultivate has brightened the Milo-Grogan area for all neighbors.
 
Join Besa and Cultivate in a Community Clean-Up in the Milo-Grogan Neighborhood and surrounding streets! As a volunteer, you'll assist with a variety of beautification tasks, including picking up litter and more. All tools and work gloves will be provided. Additional tasks may be available depending upon current green space needs.
 

Volunteers are required to bring their own face masks and must be worn at all times. Social distancing will be observed. No client interaction will take place during this volunteer event.

 

The health and safety of volunteers is a priority. If you are sick, over the age of 60, or have a chronic health condition, it is in your best interest to stay home. Click here for more information about COVID-19.

 
  • 5 is the minimum age required and all minors must be accompanied by an adult.
  • For instances of inclement weather (snow, rain, etc.), Besa will inform volunteers of any cancellation via email at least 1 hour prior to the event.
  • Please wear clothing you won't mind getting dirty and dress for the weather, we will be outdoors.
  • Closed-toe shoes are required. 
  • All the necessary tools and gloves will be provided. Please feel free to bring your own work gloves.
  • We encourage volunteers to bring a bottle of water or whatever keeps you hydrated.
  • Parking is available on the side streets. Please read all street signs carefully.
  • This event is ADA accessible.
  • Court-appointed volunteering: At this time, we can not accept court-appointed requests.
