The Intergenerational Day Care will be operated as a University/Community partnership as a Center of Excellence in child and adult care, serving children, adults and caregivers throughout Central Ohio.  The unique space will have senior-focused and adult elements, such as fitness stations and walking paths, to promote good posture, balance and flexibility – as well as more traditional, kid-friendly equipment to build a truly multi-generational space.

Currently, the Center does not have suitable playground equipment for children or exercise equipment for seniors. Volunteers from across our community will come together  to build a brand new playground.

  • Volunteers do not have to have any special training or experience
  • Enjoy music, entertainment, snacks and lunch during the event
  • Work rain or shine to get the job done
  • Be part of a lasting legacy in our community!
  • Over 200 volunteers will participate. Community partners include: United Way, HandsOn Central Ohio, and Humana
  • We would love for you to join us for the entire day but it's okay if you can only come for a couple hours. Just let us know when you sign-up!
