The Free Store is an incredible opportunity to volunteer in the Southside neighborhood, helping people select books, toys, clothes and much more for their families. Everything in the store is provided to families, free of cost, so that they do not need to worry about paying for these basic necessities.

The Christmas Shop provides Free Store families an opportunity to select, free of charge, new toys and clothing for their children. Over 500 children will be served through the program. Volunteer activities may include helping parents select presents, wrapping presets, and organizing gift stations

  • More than 40,000 families have become members of the Free Store since the doors opened in 1999.¬†
  • Youth 14+ are welcome to join!
  • Parking: There is a free parking lot on the North Side of the building. Street parking is also available.
