As part of the National YWCA, we stand for a single mission: eliminating racism, empowering women and promoting peace, justice, freedom and dignity for all.
YWCA has supported, housed, fed, nurtured and mentored women and their families since 1886. They operate the only front door emergency shelter for families in Central Ohio and provide affordable, supportive housing for 102 low income and homeless women. The YWCA Guides lawyers, judges, teachers, business professionals and others to think constructively and objectively about issues of racism, diversity and inclusion. They also provide licensed childcare, before-school and after-school program, and youth development opportunities (including Bright Futures Initiative, health and fitness, mentoring and volunteer opportunities).
