Prepare for the Portraits of Recovery Event

Date: September 20 | Time: 1:00 pm - 3:30 pm

Venue: Alvis

2100 Stella Ct.
Columbus, OH 43215

For over 50 years, Alvis has made society's most vulnerable populations a priority by providing highly effective treatment programs. Their lines of service include research-based, comprehensive reentry and family support programs; behavioral health and substance abuse treatment services; recovery housing for women and their children through the Amethyst Program; and services to individuals with developmental disabilities who are trying to live more independently in the community.

Join Besa and Alvis to support individuals reentering the workforce by preparing for the upcoming Portraits of Recovery event, all proceeds of which support the Amethyst Program. As a volunteer, you'll assist with packing surprise boxes for the socially distanced event.

Alvis will provide masks, gloves, and also practice social distancing. Your temperature will be taken upon arrival. Volunteers are highly encouraged to bring their own mask or face covering. No client interaction will take place during this event.

The health and safety of volunteers is a priority. If you are sick, over the age of 50, or have a chronic health condition, it is in your best interest to stay home. Click here for more information about COVID-19.
