Just amazing!

One hour flies by as if two minutes at the Ohio House Rabbit Rescue. The purpose of volunteering is to socialize the bunnies, in order to help them find forever homes. Volunteers rotate 10-15 minutes per bunny in their enclosure and just pet and talk to them. Some melt at first touch just soaking up the love. Some need a little help trusting people so you just talk to them and patiently wait for a sniff or a sign you can pet them. The staff is amazing and keep a kind watchful eye to ensure volunteers are helping in the right way. I was thoroughly impressed with everyone involved - especially the adorable fuzzy ones :)

Amazing opportunity!

I had a great time learning about what the Ohio House Rabbit Rescue does. Socializing with the adoptable bunnies gave me a new found respect for all of the hard work they do for these sweet animals. It was also a very therapeutic experience for me personally to sit in the rabbits enclosures and speak to them while they listened and possibly gained a little trust, enough to let me give them pets! I absolutely love this organization and how hard they work to find these precious rabbits their forever families.
