Yes, you can adopt multiple seniors. However, these individuals are depending on your support and we want to ensure they have a happy holiday. We kindly ask that you adopt a reasonable number which fits your budget, keeping in mind that on average, a gift request is around $45.

We love when companies participate and financial contributions help us grow the Adopt a Senior program year-over-year. If you're interested in making a donation or would like to learn more about company participation, please email us at adopt@givebesa.org.

Once we've confirmed your spot, we'll provide a follow-up email with instructions and next steps.

No. We ask that seniors provide a robust wish list with varying price points. Please feel free to buy all of the items listed or the item(s) which fit within your budget, keeping in mind that the average gift is $45.

Some great items that could fill out a small gift would be: gloves, hats, scarves, blankets, and throws, or hand lotions, etc.

While we understand there may be unforeseen circumstances, these individuals are relying on your support. If you are no longer able to participate, we kindly ask that you contact us (adopt@givebesa.org) immediately, so that we can find coverage.

This happens from time to time and we encourage you to use your best judgement to identify a suitable replacement. We guarantee that whatever you choose, they'll love! If you need help, please email our gifting elf at adopt@givebesa.org.

Of course! Our senior friends love to receive gifts with a personal touch. To protect the privacy of you and the senior, we kindly ask that you do not include contact information, such as your phone number or email address.

We do our best to accommodate all requests. However, because of the large number of seniors that participate in the program, we cannot guarantee that you'll be matched with a specific senior.

We completely understand and would be happy to identify a more suitable request, which meets your budget. Please email our gifting elf at adopt@givebesa.org as soon as possible.

Due to privacy and HIPAA laws, this is not possible.

Yes! If adding food related items, please make sure they're new and non-perishable. Do you craft (i.e. knit or sew)? Seniors love handmade gifts!

Secure the label provided (this can be located at www.givebesa.org/northpole) and be sure to include: the Senior’s Name, Client Number, Program Letter, and the Case Manager Name.

Adopt a Senior is Besa's most popular event and seniors go quickly. We apologize if you weren't able to adopt, however, the seniors would still be grateful for your love and support! Once all seniors have been adopted, we'll launch our "Stocking Stuffer" drive through Amazon, which allows individuals to purchase much needed items that are shipped directly to our senior agency partners. Stay tuned!
