Become a Besa Superhero!
Why should I join?
Currently, there are more people looking for help than there are available resources. BESA's role is to expand capacity and connect more people to community service. Our service projects are developed, funded and fulfilled by individuals, like yourself, who want to make this the best community to live, work and play. As a Sustainer, you are supplying the dollars needed to fund BESA service projects. Your monthly support will help BESA reach its 2015 goal of 10,000 volunteer hours and $175,000 in goods and services contributed back to the community.
How will Besa put my donation to work?
Managing the Broad Street Food Pantry, expanding hours at Dress for Success so women have more opportunities to shop the boutique, community gardening with Franklinton Gardens and unloading 10,000 pounds of food at Clintonville Resource Center. These are just a few examples of the type of work you are funding. With your support, BESA will expand neighborhood service projects and roll out new services that further connect people to their community. This includes a community blog, social media integration, and tools to track your giving.
