Alzheimer's Association Central OhioVolunteer Columbus, OH |
June 26, 2019 Supporting awareness for Alzheimer's diseaseI appreciated the opportunity to prep t-shirts for the Alzheimer's Association Stop the Clock campaign, where more awareness will be raised for the disease. Jason, the staff member from the Association, had high energy, kicked off the project with an icebreaker, and shared lots of facts about Alzheimer's and how the organization supports care (education/awareness) and cure (research). Thanks for the opportunity, Besa! Was this review helpful? |
Dress for Success ColumbusVolunteer Columbus, OH |
June 26, 2019 Always a fantastic time at Dress! Our group of Besa Heroes had a rewarding time working directly with clients at Dress for Success during a Saturday Suiting. It's great coming together to provide a one-of-a-kind experience finding fashionable, fitting work attire for women who recently accepted positions in the workforce. Every client left with not only 5 new outfits, but confidence and a smile! Was this review helpful? |
Equitas HealthVolunteer Columbus, OH |
October 9, 2018 Great evening!Great evening packing condom kits at Equitas Health. Devin (the lead at Equitas Health) does a great job explaining the service project and how it impacts members of the Ohio community. He also shares how the volunteers contributed that evening upon wrap-up (ex: tonight we packed X # of condoms which will help us supply a week's worth of requests, etc.). Thanks for the opportunity to serve and connect, Besa! Was this review helpful? |
