Join Besa and support Ohio House Rabbit Rescue!

The mission of Ohio House Rabbit Rescue is to establish and operate a Center for rescued abandoned pet rabbits, offer a robust adoption program, and provide educational resources and programming on the proper care of rabbits as indoor companions.

As a Besa volunteer, you'll socialize with bunnies that have been rescued. Socializing bunnies requires interacting with them, petting and possibly picking them up. Due to previous circumstances, bunnies may take awhile to warm up to volunteers.

  • A lead volunteer from OHRR will provide a brief training and orientation.
  • We encourage volunteers to wear long pants and closed toe shoes, as you'll be sitting in a rabbit pen.
  • 14 is the minimum age required and all minors must be accompanied by an adult.
  • Parking Info: parking is available on-site.
