Healthy New Albany is non-for-profit designed to embrace healthy living through community activities, events, personalized wellness, and disease prevention. Their grass-roots driven movement also partners with The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center and Nationwide Children’s Hospital to develop the Philip Heit Center for Healthy New Albany in the center of their community.

Join Besa and Healthy New Albany to support healthy communities at the New Albany Walking Classic (NAWC). Celebrating its 15th anniversary, NAWC is a unique event that attracts novice and Olympian walkers. It is the premier walking event in the United States and helps raises funds so that Healthy New Albany can continue to serve the health needs of others. As a Besa volunteer,  you'll help serve alcoholic drinks to participants celebrating the completion of their 10k walk. Volunteers will also receive a food voucher to use at the walk after their volunteer shift.

  • Volunteers must be 21+ for this shift.
  • Volunteers will receive a volunteer t-shirt to wear during the event. Please notate your size in the note section.
