Details:

Central Community House is a source of support and a community home for the children, families and seniors living in the near east and near south areas of Columbus. Rather than simply address one problem or social condition, they build relationships and work holistically to combat the myriad affects of generational poverty.

Join Besa and Central Community House to beautify their community garden. As a volunteer, you'll help with a variety of tasks, such as: mulching, plant seeds/seedlings, water, and weeding. A light breakfast will be provided to volunteers!

Central Community House will provide gardening gloves, face masks and we'll also practice social distancing. No client interaction will take place during this volunteer event. If you have your own gloves, face mask and/or hand sanitizer please feel free to bring it/use your own.

The health and safety of volunteers is a priority. If you are sick, over the age of 50, or have a chronic health condition, it is in your best interest to stay home. Click here for more information about COVID-19.
