North Community Counseling Centers (NCCC) is a nonprofit, community mental health agency that has been serving Central Ohio for over 50 years. The Center for New Americans, an NCCC program, provides culturally appropriate services to individuals that are new to the country to help them overcome acculturation barriers and encourage them to live productive, quality lives regardless of their insurance status or ability to pay.

Join Besa and NCCC to beautify their Center For New Americans! As a volunteer, you'll help with activities such as: cleaning windows, painting walls, sweeping floors, and more. All cleaning items will be provided.

NCCC will provide gloves and hand sanitizer to volunteers, as well as practice social distancing inside the center. Volunteers are required bring their own mask or face covering, as the number of masks is limited.

The health and safety of volunteers is a priority. If you are sick, over the age of 50, or have a chronic health condition, it is in your best interest to stay home. Click here for more information about COVID-19.

  • A lead volunteer from NCCC will be on-site to provide an orientation.

  • 18 is the minimum age required to volunteer.
  • Closed-toe shoes are required.

  • All volunteers must complete a waiver, which will be provided prior to the event.
  • Parking is available in the surface lot.
  • This event is ADA accessible.
  • Court-appointed volunteering: At this time, we can not accept court-appointed requests
