South Side Roots is a cafe operated by Mid-Ohio Foodbank that provides nutritious food to the south side community. Their programs include a pay-what-you-can cafe, a weekly community meal, and a Kids Cafe meal program for students at South Side Learning & Development Center and the Boys & Girls Club of Columbus.

Join Besa and South Side Roots to support our South Side neighbors! As volunteers, you'll work side by side with South Side Roots staff to prepare and package delicious grab-and-go meals that will be provided to the community. All supplies and ingredients for the meal will be provided. Meals will not be distributed during this volunteer shift.

Volunteers are required to bring their own face masks and must be worn at all times. Social distancing will be observed. No client interaction will take place during this volunteer event.
