Fantastic Experience!

This was my first time volunteering with the Community Shelter Board, and I will be attending again! The event was well-organized thanks to the friendly BESA volunteer leader Kassandra, who provided clear direction and instructions to the attending volunteers. The CSB staff gave a tour to the newbies providing a humbling insight to their purpose of homelessness prevention. The opportunity was engaging with a welcoming atmosphere, and I am looking forward to next month!

Making a difference

When I think of the first Wednesday of every month, I think about spending my time at First Community Village. The opportunity to step outside my everyday norm, and spend time with seniors impacted by Alzheimer's impacts my life in in such a positive way that I sign up for this event every month. I encourage everyone, and anyone to attend. The experience in itself will make your day, maybe your whole week!
